Our process:

Cobblelock paving installation Irishtown

Cobblelock is mainly used for driveways and rarely used on paths and patios. We usually start by laying it and filling the narrow joint with sand known as silica sand. We do this to prevent weeds from growing in between joints and to stabilize the paving block so that it does not move. Of course, at the preparation stage, we use a similar process we use when paving other options. After scrutinizing the ground, we dig and install drainage, provided the depth is correct.

Afterwards, we lay a hardcore layer and compact it properly using a plate compactor. Then, we spread sand and level it in preparation to lay cobblelock. All this is done with your input as we use your preferred design, colour, and sizes when installing cobblelock
